Description

Ethyl 3-Amino-3-ethoxyacrylate hydrochloride (EAEEA) is a phosphatase inhibitor that binds to the active site of the enzyme, preventing it from breaking down phosphatidylinositol. EAEEA has been shown to inhibit tumor growth and prolong survival in mice with cancer. It has also been used as an alkylating agent to produce cocrystal structures with rwj-51204, which is a potential drug for the treatment of neuropathic pain. EAEEA has a pharmacokinetic profile that allows for repeated dosing, which is beneficial for chronic diseases such as cancer.
