2-Ethyl-4-methyl-1H-imidazole-1-propanenitrile is a nonpolar organic compound that has been shown to be a good thermoelectric material. The molecule has a hydrophilic head that is similar to triazine, which reacts with cyanates to form epoxides. The molecule also absorbs thermal energy from the environment and converts it into electricity.
