Erucic acid is a model system for studying the effects of inhibitor molecules on nuclear DNA. It has been shown to inhibit the pathogenic mechanism of human cells by blocking the toll-like receptor signaling pathway. Erucic acid has also been shown to be an important factor in the matrix effect, which leads to oxidative injury in cardiac cells and is responsible for changes in energy metabolism. Erucic acid has also been used as a biocompatible polymer that can be used as an alternative to silicone in medical devices. This polymer has been shown to have glucose injection properties, which can lower blood sugar levels, and enzyme activities, which are important for many metabolic reactions. The molecular docking analysis of erucic acid and its binding with proteins may lead to new therapeutic drugs.
