Description

1-(4-Ethylphenyl)-2-methyl-2-propen-1-one is a chemical compound with a molecular weight of 202.3 g/mol. It has been used to treat bacterial infections, and has been shown to be effective against methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). 1-(4-Ethylphenyl)-2-methyl-2-propen-1-one has also been found to be safe for use in humans. This compound can be orally administered and is eliminated from the body through metabolism by cytochrome P450 enzymes.
