Description :1-Ethoxy-2-methoxybenzene is an organic compound that belongs to the class of phenols. It has been used as a solvent for pharmaceutical formulations, as an extractant for human serum, and as a demethylating agent in analytical chemistry. 1-Ethoxy-2-methoxybenzene is used in the presence of hydrochloric acid and morpholine to produce dibutyl ether from diethyl ether.
