Informations sur le produit
2-Formyl-1H-indole-5-carbonitrile is an imine boronic ester that belongs to a group of molecules that are important in the study of dopamine receptors. 2-Formyl-1H-indole-5-carbonitrile is a model system for studying the binding of dopamine receptors. The kinetic and mass spectrometric properties of this molecule have been studied using d4 receptor binding studies. Binding affinity studies have shown that 2-formylindole binds with high affinity to both D3 and D4 dopamine receptors, but has a higher affinity for D4 receptors. This molecule also has been used as a positron emission tomography (PET) radioligand in animal models to study the uptake of dopamine into synaptic vesicles.
