Description :
Talazoparib is a potent DNA methyltransferase inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit the activity of breast and ovarian cancer cells. It does not have any cytotoxic effects on normal cells, which makes it a promising drug for cancer treatment. Talazoparib inhibits the enzyme DNA methyltransferase, preventing the transfer of methyl groups to dna and rna. This inhibition prevents cell proliferation and induces apoptosis in cancer cells. Talazoparib is currently being developed as a potential anticancer drug for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer.
