Description :
6-Fluoro-1h-pyridin-2-one is a ligand in the hexane series. It has been synthesized and characterized using X-ray diffraction. 6-Fluoro-1h-pyridin-2-one crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system with space group P21/n. The molecule consists of a cyclic hexane ring and an olefinic double bond, together with a carbonyl group and a chloride ion. 6F2O is not soluble in water but can be dissolved in polar organic solvents such as dimethylformamide (DMF).
