Description :
(1r)-1-(4-Fluorophenyl)ethanamine is a chiral compound that binds to the CRTH2 receptor and has been shown to inhibit the interaction of this receptor with its ligands, such as carbinamine. This drug is synthesized from (S)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)propan-2-amine by introducing an amide substituent on the phenyl ring. The synthesis of (1r)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)ethanamine requires an inorganic perovskite precursor, which can be difficult to synthesize. Strategies for overcoming this difficulty include using a different perovskite precursor or introducing an amide substituent on the phenyl ring.
