Description :
2-Fluoro-3-formylphenyl)boronic Acid is a pyrimidine derivative that has been shown to be orally bioavailable in rats. This drug has also been shown to have a good pharmacokinetic profile in humans, with a fast absorption and elimination half life of 2.5 hours. It is metabolized by the liver into metabolites that are excreted through urine and bile. 2-Fluoro-3-formylphenyl)boronic Acid has shown efficacy in treating diabetic nephropathy and monkey models of renal disease. Pharmacokinetic studies have shown a low toxicity for this drug, which indicates that it may be suitable for long term use.
