• Description: 5-Fluoro-2-nitrobenzotrifluoride is a triamine that stabilizes complex molecules. It has been used in the synthesis of fluorinated compounds and as a nucleophile in organic reactions. The amido group, which is present on 5-fluoro-2-nitrobenzotrifluoride, reacts with electrophilic carbon atoms to form new bonds. This type of reaction is known as an amido substitution. 5-Fluoro-2-nitrobenzotrifluoride is also able to react with sodium nitrate to form a nitro group, which can be used for the synthesis of nitro compounds.
