Fluprednidene acetate is a synthetic fatty acid that is used as a sealant for choroidal neovascularization. It has been shown to be effective against skin cancer and microbial infection, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Fluprednidene acetate can also be used as an analytical method to measure the diameter of the eye or to identify cancer cells in biopsies. Fluprednidene acetate is biocompatible and can be used in ophthalmic imaging because it does not cause any reactions in the cornea.
