Fmoc-21-amino-4,7,10,13,16,19-hexaoxaheneicosanoic acid is a synthetic amino acid that can be conjugated to a variety of molecules. It can be used as an anticancer agent or as a linker between two molecules. Fmoc-21-amino-4,7,10,13,16,19-hexaoxaheneicosanoic acid has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by targeting the uptake and metabolism of these cells. This molecule has also been shown to increase the sensitivity of tumor cells to chemotherapeutic agents in animal models. Fmoc-21-amino-4,7,10,13,16,19-hexaoxaheneicosanoic acid is structurally similar to lysine and may be modified in order to achieve its desired effects.
