Fmoc-D-Ser-OH is a carboxylate that is used in the synthesis of the drug Lacosamide. The impurities were removed by chloroformate and reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography. The purity was evaluated by reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography and the particle size was determined by particle size analyzer. Fmoc-D-Ser-OH has a molecular weight of 256.25 g/mol and a log P value of 1.719. It also shows an interaction with D-serine, which is a protein involved in glycosylation processes.
