4-Fluoro-4'-methoxybenzophenone is a telechelic polymeric compound that has been studied for its potential use as a photocrosslinker. It is synthesized by the reaction of 4-fluorobenzophenone with methoxybenzene in an organic solvent. In the presence of ultraviolet light, 4-fluoro-4'-methoxybenzophenone undergoes photophysical and mechanistic studies.
