Description :
Fmoc-D-Asn-OH is a peptidomimetic that has been modified with benzyl and amide groups. It has been synthesized by the alkylation of asparagines and aspartic acid with an amine. This modification has been repeated to optimize the peptide sequence. Fmoc-D-Asn-OH has shown potential as a therapeutic for inflammatory bowel disease, Parkinson's disease, or Alzheimer's disease because it blocks the formation of beta amyloid in vitro.
