Description

Fmoc-O-benzylphospho-L-serine is a phosphoserine derivative that is used in organic synthesis. It is a metastable compound that has been isolated with a yield of 45%. Fmoc-O-benzylphospho-L-serine can be synthesized on the solid phase by manual means, or it can be synthesized in high yields using the methods of matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) and dipole electrostatic ionization (DESI). The molecular ion peaks at m/z 955.9, and the mass spectrum also contains peaks for dendron ions at m/z 889.5, and matrix ions at m/z 771.5. Fmoc-O-benzylphospho-L-serine is an inhibitor of p53 activity in body fluids such as serum and urine. It also possesses toxic activity against cancer cells,
