2-Fluoro-benzamidine hydrochloride is a hepg2 cell (human erythroleukemic) inhibitor that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activities. It is an alkylsulfonyl amide, which contains a carbonyl group and amide linkage. 2-Fluoro-benzamidine hydrochloride inhibits the activity of GDC-0032, which is an enzyme involved in fatty acid synthesis. This compound also has geometric isomers, tautomers, and carboxylic acid groups. The compounds are considered to be a mixture of two geometric isomers: one with a benzyl group on the carboxylic acid and the other without it.
