- 2-Fluoro-4-iodo-3-picoline
2-Fluoro-4-iodo-3-methylpyridine is a linker that can be incorporated into a variety of modulated molecules as a receptor antagonist. This linker has been shown to have antagonist activity against 5-HT6 receptors in rat cognition models. The pharmacokinetics and potency of 2-fluoro-4-iodo-3-methylpyridine was evaluated in rats, and found to be dose dependent with low doses being more potent than high doses. In addition, this linker has been shown to be selective for 5-HT6 receptors over other serotonin receptor subtypes.
