Description :
2-Fluoro-4-biphenylcarbonitrile is a nitrobenzene derivative that is an analog of flurbiprofen. It inhibits the production of prostaglandins and has been shown to be effective against inflammation. 2-Fluoro-4-biphenylcarbonitrile has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the enzyme cyclooxygenase.
