Description

Gingerol is a natural compound found in the ginger plant. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties. Gingerols are active inhibitors of the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) signal pathway, which regulates the production of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-2 and TNF-α. Gingerols can be analyzed by chromatography with dextran sulfate as a stationary phase, which separates compounds based on their polarity and size.
