Informations sur le produit
- 2-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-methyl-N-[4-(4-propanoylpiperazin-1-yl)phenyl]propanamide
Gibberellin A7 methyl ester is a reagent that is used to measure the metabolic rate of microbes. It is a methyl ester of gibberellin A4, which can be synthesized from alkylmagnesium bromide and thionyl chloride. Gibberellin A7 methyl ester can also be used to measure cytokinins in plants. Gibberellin A7 methyl ester has been shown to increase the growth rate of cells in vitro by stimulating cell division, but has no effect on plant growth. The structure of gibberellin A7 methyl ester is an asymmetric molecule with four different stereoisomers (2R, 2S, 3R, 3S). This reagent can only be used for experiments involving microbial metabolism because it cannot be metabolized by animal cells.
