• Description: Ganoderic acid B is a fatty acid that can be extracted from the mushroom Ganoderma lucidum. It has been shown to inhibit acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase, which are enzymes involved in neurotransmission. This compound also inhibits the production of nitric oxide, prostaglandins, and leukotrienes by inhibiting the activation of phospholipases A2 and cyclooxygenases.
