2-(Tributylstannyl)-2-propen-1-amine is a palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling agent that has been used to synthesize amines from alcohols. It is also used in the synthesis of other organic compounds, such as pyridines and related heterocycles. 2-(Tributylstannyl)-2-propen-1-amine can be prepared by reacting tributyltin chloride with an amine in the presence of hydrochloric acid, which protonates the amine.
