Informations sur le produit
2-Methylquinoxaline-6-carboxylic acid is an organic compound that contains a carbonyl group. It is reactive and can form covalent bonds with amino acids, such as lysine residues. 2-Methylquinoxaline-6-carboxylic acid has been shown to inhibit the activity of a model protein by forming covalent bonds with lysine residues. The inhibition was not reversed by addition of dehydroascorbic acid, suggesting that it may be irreversible. This compound has been observed in diabetic patients in polyclonal antibodies and monoclonal antibodies.
