Bradykinin is a peptide hormone that is produced in the body and has various physiological effects, such as vasodilation, bronchoconstriction, and the release of histamine from mast cells. Bradykinin is also used in pharmacological treatments for malignant brain tumors, congestive heart failure, and epidermal growth factor-responsive dermatoses.
