Description :
3-Hydroxyisoxazole-5-carboxylic acid is an intermediate in the synthesis of hydroxylamine, which is used as a chemical reagent. 3-Hydroxyisoxazole-5-carboxylic acid is synthesized by the reaction of dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate and dichloride. It can be used to treat lymphocytic leukemia by inhibiting the growth of white blood cells.
