Description

The chemical structure of 3,5,6,7,8,3',4'-heptamethoxyflavone is a type of flavonoid that has been shown to inhibit the production of melanin in skin cells. It is also effective against cancer cells and has been shown to increase creatine kinase activity in muscle cells. The nmr spectra show that this compound has a molecular weight of 370.3 g/mol and can be found in fatty acids. This molecule has significant cytotoxicity against tumor cells and protects against neuronal death. 3,5,6,7,8-Heptamethoxyflavone inhibits phosphodiesterase activity in brain tissue and decreases camp levels in rat brain tissue.
