Description :
4-Hexylpyridine is a monomer with the formula CH(CH)CHCH. It is a colorless liquid that is soluble in water and insoluble in ether. 4-Hexylpyridine has been shown to interact with DNA, RNA, and proteins. This interaction may be due to the presence of a pyridine ring and an alkylpyrrole group.
