Description

D-4-hydroxyphenylglycine methyl ester HCl is a reactive chemical that can be used in the treatment of wastewater. It is an acylase inhibitor and binds to the active site of the enzyme, blocking the breakdown of fatty acids. This results in an accumulation of free fatty acids and glycerol. The product simplifies the process by which these products are removed from wastewater, by eliminating the need for other expensive chemicals or processes. D-4-hydroxyphenylglycine methyl ester HCl reacts with chloride ions to form a chloride salt, which can then be removed by filtration or evaporation. The product also has a high reactivity with water molecules, which facilitates its use as a reaction solution. This makes it easier to measure and control its concentration during reactions. The product has been shown to inhibit acylases in experimental models, as well as increase effluent concentrations of fatty acids and glycerol when compared
