Description

Hexahydropyridazine is a heterocyclic organic compound with the chemical formula (CH)N. It is a white crystalline solid that has been used as an antihypertensive medication and in the synthesis of other pharmaceuticals. Hexahydropyridazine's hydrogen atoms are located on nitrogen atoms, which makes it an aromatic heterocycle. The FT-IR spectrum of hexahydropyridazine shows peaks at 1754 cm-1 and 1452 cm-1, which correspond to the stretching vibrations of N-H and C=O groups respectively. This substance is soluble in water and reacts with metal hydroxides, hydrochloric acid, and glucocorticoid receptors. Hexahydropyridazine can also be synthesized from trifluoromethanesulfonic acid and inorganic acids such as sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid.
