Description

The compound is an isomer of 2-(4-hydroxyphenoxy)propionic acid. It has been shown to have inhibitory activity against extracellular reactions, such as the synthesis of fatty acids. The compound was found to be soluble in water and hydrochloric acid, and can be used as a cosmeceutical ingredient. The enantiomer of the compound was found to be more active than the other isomer.
