Description :
2-(Hydroxymethyl)-18-crown 6-Ether is an organic compound that belongs to the group of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This molecule has been shown to be a fluorescence sensor for metal ions, including zinc, copper, and nickel. It is also used in perovskite solar cells as a hole transporting material. 2-(Hydroxymethyl)-18-crown 6-Ether can be modified with various substituents to create different effects. For example, fatty acid modifications have been shown to increase its solubility in water and modify its degradation properties.
