Description

26,26,26,27,27,27-Hexafluoro-1,23,25-Trihydroxyvitamin D3 is a vitamin D analog that has been shown to have similar effects on bone metabolism as vitamin D3. This compound inhibits the activity of the enzyme oxidase in keratinocytes and may be useful for treating disorders such as retinoblastoma. 26,26,26,27,27,27-Hexafluoro-1,23,25-trihydroxyvitamin D3 has also been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the enzymatic activity of kinetics in human keratinocytes.
