H-Ile-Leu-OH is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the uptake of glucose in muscle cells. This molecule is not active against cancer cells, but it has been shown to have anticancer effects in animals. H-Ile-Leu-OH is synthesized by enzymatic hydrolysis of branched-chain amino acids. It has been shown that the uptake rate of this molecule can be increased by using plasma samples from cancer patients as well as animals with cancer.
