Description :
(3E)-1H-Indole-2,3-dione 3-oxime is a synthetic molecule that has been shown to be an effective cancer treatment. It inhibits the growth of tumour cells by affecting metal ion levels and inhibiting their function. (3E)-1H-Indole-2,3-dione 3-oxime also has inhibitory effects on plant cell growth and pesticide activity. Studies have shown that this compound may be used as an efficient method for synthesising oxindoles in plants.
