Informations sur le produit
- (4-Isobutoxyphenyl)Methanamine
- p-Isobutyloxybenzylamin
- 4-Isobutoxy-benzylamine acetate
4-Isobutoxybenzylamine is used as a reagent in the synthesis of many organic compounds. 4-Isobutoxybenzylamine undergoes ammonolysis with aqueous HCl to form 4-chlorobenzoic acid and isobutyraldehyde. The filtrate from this reaction can be distilled to yield triphosgene, which is used as a catalyst in industrial preparation of chlorinated hydrocarbons. It is also used in the manufacture of acrylonitrile and styrene. In addition, 4-Isobutoxybenzylamine is used in reductive amination reactions with carbamates to form urea derivatives. It can also be used for the preparation of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) by reacting it with chloroformate followed by hydrolysis.
