Description

(R)-4-Isopropylthiazolidine-2-thione is a molecule that interacts with cyclic tissues, synthesizes cellular molecules, and is expressed in a variety of tissues. It has been shown to be a synthetic bioactive agent that inhibits the activity of histone deacetylases (HDAC) and may be used as an anti-cancer drug. A recent study found that (R)-4-isopropylthiazolidine-2-thione inhibited the growth of human cancer cells by inhibiting HDACs in cancer tissues. This drug also has been shown to inhibit the production of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) and serum enzymes, such as dismutase activity, in mice with lung cancer.
