Description

Isobergapten is a natural compound with potent anti-infective properties. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of P-glycoprotein (P-gp), an important membrane protein that pumps drugs and other foreign substances out of cells. Isobergapten has been shown to inhibit the growth of human liver cells in culture and may have applications as a treatment for infectious diseases, such as malaria.
