Description :
Isoamyl Acetoacetate is a high-performance liquid chromatography solvent that utilizes c1-8 alkyl chains. Isoamyl Acetoacetate has been shown to be an efficient solvent for the production of renewable energy in solar cells. It has also been used as a sunscreen and as a photostabilizer in polymer films. Isoamyl Acetoacetate is a cyclic compound with tautomeric equilibrium, which can exist as either the keto or enol form. This compound is an antioxidant, and it can be used as an esterification agent in the preparation of ethyl esters. Its structural formula is shown below:
