Description :
Isopropylcyclopentane is a nitro compound that has been shown to have receptor activity. It is also used in the production of biofuels and as a solvent for the production of ferroelectric materials and chemokines. Isopropylcyclopentane has also been shown to be an effective inhibitor of chemotaxis, which is the movement of cells in response to certain stimuli. This inhibition may be due to its ability to inhibit the activation energy required for chemokine production. Isopropylcyclopentane is also used in chromatographic science and patterning.
