Informations sur le produit
- 4-Methyl-2-phenylthiazole-5-carbonitrile
- 5-Thiazolecarbonitrile, 4-Methyl-2-Phenyl-
4-Methyl-2-phenyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carbonitrile is an antitubercular agent that has been shown to have significant interactions with subtilisin. It has been screened for antibacterial activity against gram-negative bacteria and has demonstrated a significant antimicrobial effect against staphylococcus. The hydrogen bond interactions of this compound are responsible for its potent activity against tuberculosis, cancer cells, and fungi. 4-Methyl-2-phenyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carbonitrile also shows an inhibitory effect on the growth of the tuberculosis strain H37Rv in vitro.
