• Description: Kisspeptin-54 is a mammalian peptide hormone that regulates the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus. Kisspeptin-54 has been shown to be potently immunogenic in humans and can be used as an antigen for the production of monoclonal antibodies. It is also a candidate drug for the treatment of obesity and may have neuroprotective effects. Kisspeptin-54 has been shown to reduce body mass index, which may be due to its ability to stimulate the immune system and promote antibody production against tumors.
