Lavandulyl acetate is a natural compound that belongs to the class of antimicrobial agents. It has been shown to have high resistance in solid phase microextraction, tissue culture and other methods. Lavandulyl acetate is used as an industrial preparation or a natural compound. The biological properties of lavandulyl acetate are not yet well understood, but it has been shown to have in vitro antifungal activity against Candida albicans and other fungi. Lavandulyl acetate also has fatty acid-like properties that make it useful for the production of supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2) extraction systems.
