Description :
Leurosine sulfate is a biocompatible polymer that is reactive with intramolecular hydrogen. It can be used to form hydroxyl groups and has been shown in tissue culture to have diagnostic properties. Leurosine sulfate is a good candidate for use as a therapeutic agent for infectious diseases and bowel disease, as it promotes the growth of probiotic bacteria in the gut. Leurosine sulfate also has been shown to bind to the CB2 receptor, which may be useful for treating autoimmune diseases and inflammatory bowel disease.
