• Description: Losartan carboxaldehyde is a potent angiotensin II receptor antagonist that blocks the binding of angiotensin II to its receptors, which are present in many tissues. It has been shown to inhibit thrombus formation in vitro and in vivo, as well as platelet aggregation. Losartan carboxaldehyde is also an effective antiplatelet agent that prevents platelet activation and blood clot formation.
