Description

Lycorenin is a naturally occurring narciclasine derivative that is found in the fructus ligustri plant. It has been shown to have protein synthesis inhibitory properties, which are due to its chemical structure and diversity. Lycorenin can be synthesized using asymmetric synthesis, which involves the use of a chiral auxiliary agent in order to produce a molecule with one enantiomer.
