Description

Leptomycin B is a protein kinase inhibitor that binds to the ATP-binding site of the enzyme, preventing phosphorylation and deactivation. Leptomycin B has been shown to inhibit the activity of nuclear protein kinases in cancer cells, arresting the cell cycle and inducing apoptosis. It has also been shown to have anti-cancer effects on cancer cells by inhibiting tumor growth.
