Description

Lutetium trifluoromethanesulfonate is a functional theory that has been applied to micelles, macroinitiator for ring-opening polymerization, and as an asymmetric synthesis for the preparation of polymers. Lutetium trifluoromethanesulfonate is also used in the preparation of sulfamates for copolymerization. This compound has hydrophobic properties and can be synthesized from the reaction of lithium hexafluoroarsenide with sulfur dioxide gas in aqueous solution at room temperature.
