3-Methylthiophene-2-carboxylic acid is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C5H8O3. It has been used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and dyestuffs. 3-Methylthiophene-2-carboxylic acid can be used as an intermediate in organic synthesis.
